Reviews
The Royal Library is a great place to visit that is free and offers great views over the river. "The Black Diamond" as it is called is an architectural marvel. Despite many areas being closed off to the general public (aka tourists, understandably), the bookstore, Cafe and open areas of the building offer more than enough to explore.
This is a very beautiful building, you walk up to it and it catches your attention and you keep looking! The building has many windows and lots of light, beautiful views of the cars driving under the building!
Stunning architecture, you can also get 1-2 levels up to make the nicer pictures from the Center. Free to visit in the city Center, enough place to work, WiFi is also there. I recommend also to go around the building as they integrated the old facade from the back, which is also beautiful and there is nice garden there as well
The Royal Danish Library – The Black Diamond. The Black Diamond shows special exhibitions and collections and hosts talks, concerts. This is not just a place for books and students, but contains rich collections of cultural value that reflect broad European cultural traditions all the way back to ancient and medieval times.
Fantastic architecture and definitely worth a visit! It's fun to look at the floors. There is often an exhibition in the basement and a shop and a café on the ground floor.
The reading room cannot simply be visited. You have to register.
The view from the top is great!
Architecturally an absolute eye-catcher both from the outside and from the inside! Use the elevator and go up to floor 6: the view is worth it!
Btw: Good coffee on the ground floor.
Beautiful! To visit
Very impressive architecture
